Coastal Mississippi: 4-Day Itinerary

Follow along for four days of discovery along the Mississippi Coast that includes beachside bonfires, a dolphin sighting cruise, shrimp boating, an oyster farm, and of course, loads of fresh seafood.

• Coastal Mississippi is comprised of three coastal counties including Jackson, Harrison and
Hancock. Twelve cities make up these three coastal counties.
• Coastal Mississippi spans 62 miles along the Gulf of Mexico and overlooks the Mississippi
Sound.

Day 1

9am: Boat Trip to Off-Bottom Oyster Farm with French Hermit Oyster Co.
Take a boat trip out to the off-bottom oyster farms just south of Deer Island.

Visit Biloxi Visitors Center
Great exhibit on the culture and heritage of the region, as well as beautiful views from the second floor!

Explore Gulfport’s beautiful harbor and eclectic downtown
area, featuring Fishbone Alley, an ever-evolving public art scene in an old fishmonger’s alley.

3:30pm: Ship Island Excursions Dolphin Watching Cruise

Day 4

“The Bird” is a charming little (Plastic-Free!) restaurant known to locals as the “living room of the Bay” in downtown Bay St. Louis.

10am: Tour of 100 Men Hall
